We propose to use machine learning approaches to predict the COVID-19 patients’ future disease progression/recovery with minimal human involvement and medical resources. Our goal is to provide an accurate reference to our clinical partner (Piedmont Hospital) so that better resource allocation plan can be established and better care can be provided to all patients in need with limited resources. The need and proposed idea have been validated by the collaborating clinicians at Piedmont Hospital and several other primary hospitals in Atlanta area.
