The goal of this research is twofold: (1) to better understand how employee work experiences have changed in light of Covid-19, and (2) to evaluate further how the experience of work will continue to change in the future as society eventually readjusts to "business as usual."
CDL-Recovery is a pivot of the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), an objective-setting mentoring program for early-stage science projects.
To provide relevant evaluation of potential disinfection methods against the coronavirus, in case non-standard materials or methods are needed. Efficacy against two enveloped respiratory viruses (hRSV, influenza) will be assessed. Effects of the treatment method on performance of personal protective equipment can also be tested in collaboration with other Georgia Tech labs.
Currently, the community prevalence of Covid-19, which is related to herd immunity, is relatively unknown. This project has identified crowdsource tracking as a possible solution.
